Auto Insurance Spine Surgeons

We Accept Auto Insurance

At Florida Surgery Consultants, we know that when you get into a car accident it can be a very exhausting process. We are here to help you after your accident. Most of the time, more pain comes after the car accident. Just to be safe, make sure you consult with one of our doctors when you get in a car accident before it is too late.

PIP (Personal Injury Protection)

In Florida, there is a PIP (Personal Injury Protection) statue. Since Florida is a no fault state you need to understand this statue. Everyone is required to have a minimum of $10,000 in coverage that helps pay the medical bills in the event of an auto accident. The $10,000 in PIP is only available to those who have an Emergency Medical Condition. The EMC is determined only if the patient is suffering from a serious issue to the patient’s health, impairment of a bodily function, or disfunction to any organ or part. This coverage applies for anyone who has car insurance in the state of Florida. This is why it is important that when you get into a car accident you need to go get evaluated immediately. Symptoms may not be there but getting evaluated is important.

Reasons why you need to get evaluated

If you do not see a medical doctor within the 14 days after your accident you will not be able to receive the $10,000 in PIP coverage to treat your injuries. There are no out of pocket costs to you, that is why PIP insurance is there and mandatory in the state of Florida. At Florida Surgery Consultants we know how to handle auto accidents. Unlike many other clinics, Florida Surgery is willing to help patients that are in need of help. We do not deny auto accident cases like many of our competitors do.

Why Florida Surgery is the best choice

Suffering from an auto accident can cause injuries that can last a lifetime. Many patients that we see suffer from back pain, neck pain, knee pain, or shoulder pain. These injuries may be acute at first and then start to become chronic. There are also many other injuries other than soft tissue damage that can happen in the event of a car accident. Listed is some of the most common injuries during a car accident:

These are just some of the most common issues that we see when patients come in to treat their auto accident injuries. The most common injuries are to the back. The less common injuries are injuries that our doctors also are able to treat, such as injuries to the wrist, hand, skin, ankle, and foot. This is where Florida Surgery Consultants excels versus any other clinic. We have surgeons that specialize in car accident injuries that can handle all injuries sustained during a car accident.
